Warranty, Returns and Refund Policy
All products sold at Camping Gear AU come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in this policy limits any rights or remedies you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.
Warranty
We offer a 12-month warranty on products found to be faulty or damaged, unless a different warranty period is stated on the product listing. The warranty does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear
- Damage caused by improper assembly or modification
- Damage caused by misuse or abuse of the product
- Lack of proper maintenance or care
- Damage to external packaging only
How to Make a Claim
To submit a warranty claim, please contact us with:
- Your order number
- A description of the issue
- Clear photos or videos showing the fault, damage, or missing part
Please do not dispose of the product before your claim is resolved. Do not return the product without our prior authorisation — if a return is required, we will provide a return label.
Depending on the nature of the claim, we may offer: replacement parts, a product replacement, an alternative product, or a partial or full refund.
Change of Mind Returns
We accept change of mind return requests within 14 days of delivery, provided that:
- The item is unopened and in its original condition
- It is not a health or safety product
- It is not a bulk purchase
Return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility, and a 10% restocking fee applies on the item price and shipping. Please contact us before returning any item — returns sent without prior consultation will not be accepted.
Refunds
Refunds are issued to the original payment method used at the time of purchase. We are unable to process refunds to a different account or card.
